Always check after oil change

Had a new event happen today. Isuzu dealership forgot to reinstall oil fill cap. In 40 years never had this happen before. I think I will start doing my own service work

Had a cap fall off a day later not too long ago..
Made them come clean up the mess.

Had that happen to one of my son's. Forgot the oil cap and it blew all of the oil on the driveway. They said he did it!

I told them WTF would he remove the cap? Stoopids.

I change my own oil on my cars.

ive taken my car in for service a few times for misc things and they changed my oil, always with crap that turns black after 1000 miles, and always 1 quart low. wtf. now i tell them not to touch it.

Had em break an elbow. I saw the oil drips the next day. Of course they didnt do it.

I left the cap off on my judson after an oil change. Came out to see oil smoking like crazy on the exhaust. Probably was less than a minute away from a complete inferno.

I had the "cap forgotten" result before.

Of course they didn't do it.

Also had a tire place forget to tighten 4 nuts....and I drove the car for a thousand miles straight through Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden and Denmark.

Sometimes hitting over 100mph.

I was able to turn the nuts by hand when we realized it.
