am I missing a reason?

Reasons for using a GreenGlide..

1. Much better dry times equates to happier customers, more referrals and less wicking and browning.

2. Far less stress on your body, reducing wrist, elbow, shoulder and lower back injuries and long-term damage

3. Eliminates damage to baseboards and transition areas, where a metal lipped wand can scratch and gouge.

4. A Glided wand contributes to making you a better cleaner by eliminating bad habits. Adding pre vacuuming, pre-spraying and pre-scrubbing to your process insures longer lasting results and happier customers.

5. More versatility, vinyl and tile floors can be (carefully) rinsed with a GreenGlided wand

And for you Evolution Wand owners, you'll see an increase in vacuum performance by reducing chatter and the breaking of the vacuum seal caused by the sticky OEM plastic glide.

2, 3 and 5 are solid
add wand chatter and lock-down and eliminate the dig at EvoFaqs

1 and 4 are questionable .
1.) is only on some specific situations
Crap/worn and/or tight loop short pile where "lock down" is major
Otherwise, there really isn't a dime's worth of difference to "complete" dry

4.) implies glides don't clean as well as unglided (which is true for the most part) and certainly on cut pile...
and you have to vac or cuff 'cause the popcorn seed under the couch won't fit the slot
or every piece of lint 'n staple fiber that surfaces 'cause a hole glide won't pick it up...

as far as the other stuff...
If you don't use pre-spray on 95.377% of carpet, you're a hack and don't know it or have simply chosen to mine gold with the "blow 'n go" biz model

a far as scrub and flush/rinse extract.. if one doesn't recognize the great virtues of mechanical agitation when and where it makes the job faster/better/easier to achieve stellar results....they're just "one of them" that doesn't know or "good enough, is good enough"

lastly, in all seriousness, Mike
I think it a perfect marriage with you, Olsen and GreenGlides
I see nothing but good things for the guy on the wand

4 went through many revisions, this one was Saiger and Pemberton approved.

IMO taking a Glide off to clean a section 8 shit hole is permissible if your POS wand allows for it.

been saying it for 30 years now and will say it again ..

any conscientious cleaner that has the ability to figure out how to pour water out of boot without being spoon fed, will learn more in a year cleaning ratholes than 7 years of res.
It's the ideal "proving ground" to evaluate gear, methods and juices

Matter of fact, it should be required as part of one's "Journeyman" trade card

Did you guys ever take my suggestion and make the slot holes big enough to suck up popcorn kernels and airsoft pellets?

#6 They just make the wand look cooler. It just makes a wand (the Dev, in my case), look meaner and leaner when you bring it into the house.
