I add it to my rinse . it reacts with the peroxide already in the carpet for amazing results. you can also use it for a tile rinse since it completely evaporates. the great thing about it besides its cheap is that it leaves no additional residue but boosts your cleaning. i wouldn't add it to my prespray because i don't want to inhale that much. under the zipper you can't even smell it. it is very hard on your dwyer meter. it will also quickly destroy your plastic sight glass, which is why i switched to pyrex.
