The small DIY bathtub gin makers have more trouble with consistency batch to batch compared to the big boys or smaller outfits that have legit chem manufacturers private label it
Been my observations anyway...and why I stick with Prochem and Bridgepoint for the most part

One of the "big boys" you mentioned is currently having problems with a powder product made for grout cleaning . . .
"Interlink totally fu--ed Rob bad. the samples interlink sent out to a few of us when the whole thing started was NOT what they sold everyone in the end. Interlink says they didnt change the formula, but they are 100% full of XXXX" Rich T.
As far as the PowerMax production goes, the key raw materials have not changed . . .
The production man who makes every batch is very concerned with the quality of every batch . .
As far as Jim Martins photos go, the only time I have seen those types of product was due to excessive moisture getting into the product . . . Caking does not have any effect on performance, but it does,of course, make the product hard to use.
At 45,000 sq. ft. , we are NOT a DIY bathtub gin maker . . .
By the way, I just got back from New Orleans ARCS annual convention,
where I was invited to do a 2 hour program on spotting for the top cleaning specialists in the country.
