Anyone use it?

I see Bridgepoint has it.

Have had some custy's ask for it.

Sucessfull?
How long does application last??
What effects the lastingness of it? Is lastingness a word?
Leave carpet wetter?
Science of it? Formulation? Settling to fiber?

Jordan;

There are several types on the market.

The old ones were "cationic", resoil, and not good for SR carpet.

The new ones are "nonionic" which is fine for SR and don't resoil.

We carry the "nonionic" type (DC Anti-Stat).

The product we use is designed to take it below the human threshold level and it is very successful at that. We have also used it as the "first stage" in some computer related applications but offer no guarantees in that instance.

Longevity is exceptionally good as static problem will only generally recur when a carpet is cleaned. i.e. the dirtier it gets the less chance of static

Science/formulation/settling - I don't need to know - I apply, it works I bank the money.

We've guaranteed that it would work for a year or until the next cleaning. We've never had to re-apply between cleanings.

Kevin, The anti-stat/protectors are silicones. Not good for most fibers, definitely not good for stain resist carpet.
