I can't. But it does send the data back to the handle display. Thats the part I like.

We wouldn't use it all the time but I can see where it might come in handy.

I wasn't looking at the pic that closely. That does look very useable.

I'd almost want to try it first. Or at least know someone that has it and can vouch for it.

It beats climbing on a chair or stepstool to get to those higher areas. Not sure how often you will need it. Does it separate from the handle?

Yes. Its both hand held and pole mounted.

It wouldn't replace a thermal camera but it could be used to further validate what the camera is showing you.

I don't have a thermal camera. I have a tramex and a protimeter. As long as it's reasonably accurate I think I would prefer the versatility of the extech. I am not doing a lot of water damage anymore, just smaller jobs. I think that tool is great for leak tracing. Last year I had a mysterious leak in a apartment bldg. Turned out to be a pinhole leak in a hot water pipe in a ceiling cavity. Came down a wall but so gradually it was hard to detect.

A good cheap thermal can be had for $1,000.00.
It could really help with inspection and speed up drying validation. It would also be great for professionalism and could pay for itself by bringing in more areas to dry.

That's not bad. I haven't looked at them for a while. Last one I saw was $4000.

I'll vouch for it Richard.
If you don't like it, you can sell it to Nate, like you've always done in the past.
