I looked at the floor plan for the trade show and it looks like dejavu (sp) so I am not sure it's worth seeing this year. What do you all think?

I'd go, but Archery deer season opens for me Sept 1st.

The trade show is the only think I'm ever interested in, besides meeting up with friends.,

Carey and I are going for a 3 night vacation later in Sept.

I think Connections is always worth a trip, but not the 1st week of Sept.

30% trip to Vegas
30% New toys and/or ideas (Service Monster etc. all came from Connections for me)
30% Recharge the batteries and renew the passion for the industry
10% socializing (carpet cleaners are usually more interesting/intelligent on the boards than in person!)

What do you do in Vegas?

I looked at a bunch of shows online (I am not a "show" person so I am not the target market I know) and the comedy shows are Xpensive and forget Cirque d sole'. Do you see certain shows? Play your favorite table games? Pick up a hooker?

I might just be getting old and I might still go please help.

Are you going to purpose to Lisa while you're there, Raddon ?

I've found most are more interesting in person, there are still a few who are some stiffs.

There is lots of new equipment going to be introduced in Vegas.

Mytee has promised several interesting new machines.

Truckmounts are going to be more space-efficient this year.

New Wands will make your job easier.

Water Restoration has some new products.

Old friends will be having new fun (free beer)

Larry

P.S. CRI will have new guidelines

Tony, it could possibly pertain to me  Didnt say that to offend anyone. You are one of the people I would be interested in meeting. Im just saying, its easy to hide behind a computer and pretend to be something youre not. An opportunity to meet other carpet cleaners and share ideas is invaluable but not facilitated well at connections. Round table discussions would be a great idea.
