We had several Jiro's back in the 80's.

Tall machine looked like a robot, had large rear wheels and small caster on the front. 100-psi but it had a powerhead for agitation.

Good vacuum for a porty, not a bad unit, but had a terrible opening for fresh water.

Did anyone else own one?

Richard;

You are not going to believe this,
but I still have a customer operating with the Jiro.

He has modified the power wand (a good design)
to include a hi-perf 3-stage vac and a pump-out.

Since the vac is only a few inches from the vac head,
it has good recovery.

Wow that's crazy!

They were made well just strange looking, I wish I still had a picture of them. That powerhead would shake the house down, we ended up just using a wand, too much vibration from the head.
