Anybody have any luck renewing IICRC cerifications?

Watching this as some (1) maybe more, Aussie is currently over there doing a course at iicrc in Lost Wages.

There has been some consternation about the fees payable for certification.

I wish more Aussies would join Mikey's to see what is happening, and what the general feeling of this group is.

Mailed a check for $199.00 back in Dec 2015 - nothing from them - then sent another check for $48.00 on Jan 2016 - nothing on that. I've been calling and leaving messages but haven't had a call back? I think I've been had.....

Renewed my boys in Sept. 2 weeks later it came in the mail.

But I never called.

So they probably like me.

It's a pretty sad/bad situation with the IICRC. I maintained my certs through them for decades but I won't give them another dime. You can have your certifications renewed and it will probably cost you substantially less through the ICRA. Very easy and you can do it online. They just emailed them to me (after 6 phone calls & 4 months) card & hard copies being mailed. Apparently who ever imputed my data didn't finish it - so it didn't print nor mail. That was close - next year not sure who I'll go with as I have stickers on the van & patches on my uniform shirts.

Pretty easy choice for me. I maintain my same certifications for $100.00 less a year, and don't have to think about the "Clean Trust" again. Don't forget about that fiasco.
