I saw that on your FB group. I saw someone posted to sand blast it. I didn't reply because I don't care. But.... Sand blasting it would etch the cement. I would soda blast it off. Also it's better for the environment.

You should also check with the local police/Sheriff Dept and see if they have a graffiti unit that takes care of that stuff.

Soda blaster for win.
But if you pressure wash.
Get a paint roller an give a coat of paint removal..
Something like a gel base.
Give it a day or too to seep in an weaken.
Then nail it...
Possible after you apply gel remover, cover an let sit.
So it has a protected dwell time.
In the early 90s,some vandal in Chicopee poured red paint over an angel in the cemetery
My young son an I got her pretty again that way.
Best of luck.
See if you can apply a finish after cleaning.
So the jerks can't win.
Charge accordingly.
Hope it helped...

Have you tried this Goof Off? May be an option if you don't want to invest in soda blaster. I believe they make larger sizes. This is just a sample I received.

There are loads of "natural" and "biodegradable" products that will melt graffiti off of bare concrete or brick so you can pressure wash it away - some of them have DOT approval.

Set up a sock dam and pump the waste water into a tank. Lots of guys make a living doing this AND already work with government agencies.

Covering it with more paint is just quicker and cheaper. (They'd never pay for ice blasting.)

Your truck mount if the pressure get high enough may take it off. The heat helps too.

I do a fair amount of graffiti removal and stuff like that sometimes I luck out and can pressure wash it off. If not I have to use a stripper and it cost more.

I'v used Landa graffiti remover with great results. They make two so make sure you get the one for porous brick, not metal. Use cold water. Spray or roll it on, wait 5 or 10 and it will come right off with fairly low pressure.

Imagine how quick and inexpensive it would be to spray a yellow line across the barriers

if it is destined to happen again by the local ’artists’ there is virtually no permanent solution

so why not choose the least damaging to the concrete and the surrounding habitat and wallet

this poorly execuTed paint job looks like it is covering “ Marty is an asshole” multiple times
