The kind they use on sports fields? We tested cleaned some and it does an amazing job of cleaning but those rubber pellets are clogging the filter too far to be productive.
Lee how did you filter the rubber pellets? ZIPPER SPINNER did a fantastic job but we ended up with 5 lbs of rubber doing a small test area of 4x10I did MSU's field in August 2001. Miserable hot even at 1am. Painting mishap correction.
Researched that a few years ago when I saw an opportunity. They make a special machine that collects the rubber balls and I believe if my memory is correct they apply some sort of microban type cleaner?
They have tried it and it just spreads the clay. They aren't happy with the pressure washing results.Pressure wash only. The field is built to drain.
Might try it but it won't flush the clay as well as the ZIPPER.I think you are causing the lifting of the pellets with the as. Try an old drag wand and lower you pressure.
It is just plastic you are cleaning.
Saiger" data-source="post: 4556285" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch">We will have to try that. They want to schedule cleaning but we can't until we have a solution for the pellets. So if pressure wash only the Zipper SS Super Spinner with no vacuum attached could be the magic
They have plenty of pellets to replace when the rake it. But yes, I'd like to figure a way to leave them yet remove the clay.Sounds like the pellets should remain to make the surface bouncy and safe. I'd try a system that leaves the pellets.
