I got this when I drove up to New Mexico and bought all that other stuff.....been using it since then..the other day something broke on it and now the trigger wont stop spraying water....

I think something fell off the handle but not sure......If you got one can you get me a picture so I can compare them....

Looks like a hydro-kenetic tool. I think their should be a large, flat teflon piece on its bottom.

Ron Werner uses one and maybe can put a photo up for you.

My tile tool has a valve like that. It will stick and keep spraying. I take it apart and super lube the o ring and it works get for another 4 months.

Jim the old Steamway hand tools had a little pin hole in them to maintain water flow(heat) the truck mounts were an on demand system so the Kerosene heater would only fire when there was water flow and since the water usage for hand tools was so low the only way to keep up the heat was to have that design( water flowing-heating all the time) You should see a copper tube in the hose with a little pin-hole.

Shit sorry Jim I put my glasses on and read your post now with 20/20. You could just have a bad valve or o-ring or spring. I have an old stair tool if you need a new/used valve call me.

I believe thats an earlier version of the HK tool I have. Trigger and valve are totally different. Might have to just open it up and take a look. Stuck o-ring or spring sounds plausable.

How do you like using it?

Jim I have the same tool. Mine is doing the same thing. My source can no longer get rebuild kits. Check with OLSON. I want to buy a brand new valve. Cant find one.

Does it have the little teflon on the other side of the trigger handle?

These clean great but can be a major pain when something goes wrong. Mine is atleast 18 yrs old.
