Anyone using VLM for Tile/Grout Cleaning?

We have a commercial account with a large condo complex (cleaning hallways mainly). Once a year we clean their entry tiled areas, 3 per building on 5 buildings. Results in about 15 different setup and teardowns to reach each one. The areas are not heavily soiled.

Looking for some input from guys on what pads or brushes to use on a cimex and what chems to look at using. If this is possible it would make this a much more simple task. Thanks!

I have a powrflite multiwash machine. It has a built in gravity fed tank and a variety of brushes. it scrubs and picks up the water on hard surface floors. Using a snail fan, areas are dry in 10-15 minutes.

Go over to the Vacaway board. I'm sure there are plenty of people over there doing it.

We tried it and the pads are too small to screw with.

I rented one of those machines that you drive that shoot down the water and pick it up. I was doing a factory floor. I'm sure they make those in a smaller type model that you could probably push for smaller areas. Check out one of the equipment rental companies and see what they've got

The VLM only geeks will sell you a magic bonnet that can hold 90 gallons of muck.

I use 2790 mixed at 10oz. Dwell 5-10 minutes. Scrub with CRB. Perhaps a bit of brushing around edges. Rinse/extract with straight water using a portable and a Gecko squeegee head. Although my portable goes to 500 psi I mostly leave it at 100-150psi. Throw a fan out. Use a towel to skate around the edges a bit to make sure there's no moisture.

This works for me but I'd hate to do BIG jobs as while I make more per hour doing tile over carpet it really is more tiring too.
