The only issue with Kirby is it doesn't have a wand for along walls but it has a strong powerful suction. If you go in straight or even if you have to go side ways it will get most of the crap out from along walls

If it doesn't I use a Shark Hand Held vacuum for anything Kirby doesn't get. It has a lot of suction for a little vacuum and it fits right in my spotter bag. The nozzle end comes off and makes it shorter

I expected a Member of the GROUP THINK to say ... Yea but you can't vacuum crevices along Baseboards with Kirby

I make sure I have everything I need for every situation

How I clean Area Rugs using the VLM Method

I've been doing this house for about 10 years. Ashley and husband went to Mexico for a vacation. Her Dad is staying at the house taking care of her house and three dogs. I did 2 Bedrooms and 3 Area Rugs. Kitchen Area Rug was trashed with many spots and spills. Dining Room Living Room Area Rugs were not as bad

The Oreck Obiter works great for cleaning thin Area Rugs. I used TOPS Odyssey on Bedrooms and Oreck Orbiter for Area Rugs

All 3 Area Rugs looked much cleaner and brighter after cleaning

How I clean Furniture using the VLM Method


I've been going to this house for 5 years. She does her carpet and furniture every Summer. She has 3 dogs and they spend a lot of time on that Blue Sectional so I used my portable and the back cushions the fabric is loose fitting and hard to clean with VLM.

I used Bonnet Pro Omega Citrus 4 oz and 4 oz Vacaway Odor Death x2 and rinsed with Water on the Blue Sectional

I used Grey Matter Chemistry Silver Solution 4 oz and VLM on 3 chairs and Sofa.

I use VLM on the majority of Furniture but some loose fitting fabrics and TRASHED Furniture are very hard to clean using the VLM Method

When I don't VLM I use a 6 Gallon Heated Esteam 100 PSI Portable

That LST formerly known as silver solution and vice versa is a great problem solver but it is not an encapsulate that I would not be leaving it behind expecting any magical pixie powder to vacuum away later..

I can't disagree with that but I have never seen any resoiling or any other issues using Silver Solution. There is very very little left behind on furniture. Furniture was dry in 30 minutes. I used it last year when I did that furniture and it still looked good and clean this year.

From now on I will use EncapGreen in place of Silver Solution
