Great chemical.....

Yeah I was useing it as a prespray some and as a spotter a lot until I read some post on ics about it being unhealthy and causing heart and lung problems. Then I got scared lol anybody that knows anything about chems want to chime in here? It was a good spotter.

Ben you can order it from their site here. I don't think they sell through suppliers. I think last time I got some it was like $12 a gallon. Search ics on it first though there are several people that claim it causes health problems.

It's generally recognized as a spray for bonnet cleaning and is pretty good for that.
i tried a gal many years ago.
as i recall, there was too much of a solvent smell to it for my likes

Used Argosheen for 28 years, then changed, 28 years of headaches went away. Found a lot safer products to use.

It is a great cleaner though.

Grumpy, my father, had a lot of lung problems from using it though.

Have you EVER used the Product???

I am NOT speaking of the aerosol product...! "I have never used it...or see the need to"

WD 40 is probably 100 times more dangerous...

"I"..personally find the De-Lime products...much more offensive.."

Argosheen ..has its place in the industry..It is VERY versitle..and a great last resort chemical..

John...The chemicals that your father & we have used over the years have ...ALL..been
very TOXIC...We used what got the JOB done...! The constant exposure to any chemical
is NOT safe..It doesn't seem fair to call out Argosheen...The carbon-monoxide in the vehicles
& the tobbaco product's of the day were just as harmful...

This product has some AMAZING qualities...

Mrs Sanders..is a peach..!! she is very knowlegable in every aspect of this industry..
I spoke to her at Length..about the STODDARD ISSUE...last month..
Argo is basically a co-solvent..."You DO have to shake it before use"
She recently CHANGED the bottle...It is NOW ..clear to remind.!!!..user's to shake...

After you recieve the Argo...Give ma a call...I will share some amazing uses for this product..
Cleaning "situation"..that you would normally walk away from...are an EASY FIX..with Argo.!!

While ...."I don't think it will CONVERT you to a Christian"..

NO STODDARD'S....

Mrs. Sanders is in the office every day..She will answer any :?: you have..

I came across the product 20 years ago...I used it exclusively in my auto-detail business..

It is BAR-NONE..best nicotine remover EVER...and it DESTROY'S...any lingering odors..

We used it on all interiors...Vac..Brush..spray..wipe with damp terry cloth..dry in 5 minutes.
We were able to clean auto-headliners...instead of replacement..
Have you ever cleaned an auto carpet.."Light Gray"...the to have it wick..that yellow wicking
wipes right OFF..with Argo.. FANTASTIC for removing creosote..Water Stains..just Dissapear..
re-accuring urine stains.coffee,lipstick,crayon,....all gone..!!!!!

You really have to see to believe....I don't want to come across as a salesman...I have NO
dog in the HUNT...I pay ..FULL..retail..& NO FREE samples.. :(

I don't know what the gel you are using smells like...?
But if you ever flew on most any Airline...in the 70's...That is how Argo smells..!
The Airlines used Argo ...To remove all the NICOTINE staining from the carpet & upholstery.
It was also used in the WHITE HOUSE and Federal building's in D.C... "janitorial service"

They created one of the 1st...oscillating pad machines..THE ARGONAUGHT...

It doesn't seem fair to call out Argosheen...

after 28 years of headaches, I shouldn't say anything?

I don't say this proudly, I used to be one of her largest distributors, and YES I like
Ann, and loved Dorothy her short legged battle axe mother (endearing term for her).

Cleans well in most situations and completely make a lot of things look like complete crap in ithers but it stinks to high heaven & gives me a headache. I'd rather quit the biz than use that stuff everyday. Haven't touched it in 2 years & it hasn't been long enough.

Like Harper says it does work good but put it in the same catagory as other solvent based bonnet cleaners like Chemspecs roto-brite.

When your customers cough and you have to explain about the odor will die down it's time to find another product.

We use about 3 cases per month. Used primarily as a spotter and works great. We get it from a local distributor for like $11/gallon. They tell us we are the largest user of it in the Richmond market, and only 2 other cleaners use it and we told them about it.
