Where can I get some inside info on someone's arrest/criminal records that are legit?

Those online search records sites seem a waste of money.

We use ADP for our payroll. We get a certain number background checks each year.
We also use the office test. If the girls in the office think he is a creeper on first visit they don't get hired.

You can get a PACER account and search for federal stuff, most state and county/local courts also have pubic access. Some charge, some don't.

Take care,

We check the county court records which is free public access. The problem is if they have a court record in another county it won't show up. The federal is more in depth and would pickup all records.

Federal doesn't pick up everything. In fact Federal can miss a lot. If you really want to be thorough you need to check Federal (including the state courts which will show on PACER), county and local courts everywhere the prospect has lived in their adult life....or as far back as you know. With women you also have top check maiden and prior married names as well.

Take care,
Lisa

We use a service that we get through a trade association Don't know what it cost, doesn't matter. We can't afford to have someone in our employ entering customer's homes without our doing a background check

Caught one guy with burglury arrests in Florida, thought we'd be an ideal company to use to case his victims. Another had a warrant in Oklahoma. Even caught a guy that was up on charges of possesion with intent to distribute that hadn't gone to trial yet. He didn't think it would show up until after he was convicted.

Just advertising that we do background checks keeps perps away.

The package we buy includes all above and E-verify for SS#, addresses.

You want to use a service because real people go through this stuff and correct errors. Chances are there is more then one person with that name and the cheap online databases will give you the wrong JiMmy L.
Or the information is inaccurate/dated.
