I have been asked to shine up some artificial green stone tile. I image it would be straight forward enough to shine up these tiles using monkey pads or some other technique. I have included two pictures below. The stone motif is throughout the tile not just on the surface. I would apreciate some idea on how I could approach this job. If possible what these types of tile are called and maybe the manufacturer.
Thanks Richard Gagne

Actually, what it looks like is that they mixed rocks into a kind of green cement to make a large rock. Then they sliced the rock to make tiles.

Looks like an aggregate to me. However, you said it is ARTIFICIAL. What does that mean? If it is real stone, then you can polish it by your favorite method.

looks like jurassic

be careful with monkey pads because the varing hardness of that stone

like, dave g said before, the monkeys will go after the softer material first

if it was man made, or pieces in a resin, often the aggergate is straight and jaged, like broken pieces
