AT&T sells most of the yellow pages, hmmm, I wonder why?

In My area they stopped printing the yellow pages and just offer yellowpages(dot)com. They very pushy with those with free listing only.

My wife has worked for ATT yellow pages for the last 19 years. Its a great company, but with the internet, the books are not much of a draw anymore. Even the white pages and its production has dropped off.

It will be interesting to see what the new company (Cerberus) will do with them.

When ATT took over BellSouth, they raised the rates about 40% and many dropped them.
