Hey Chris,

Yes I did, It went down like this..
First, had a bad ground wire connection. Fixed that.. charged and tested the battery to make sure that wasn't fried.. battery survived fine.
Second, starter was cooked.. got a new one, runs like a dream.

I read another tread you posted on. Sounds like you had problems with the unit starting. Mine will start, but it is not charging. I have replaced voltage regulator and stator and can only get 9 DC volts out of the B+ in the voltage regulator. I guess I should have checked the ground first, but I thought hey it turns over and will start, so it couldn't be the ground. I'll take a closer look and see what I find. I ran all the tests on the stator and it tested fine, but I thought I would try it anyway.
