Anybody using back pack vacs in the commercial arena, to do the detail vacuuming? Have plenty of hardware for the traffic areas, just thinking the back pack with a crevice tool might just be the ticket for the corners, etc. Recommended model(s)?

pro's con's ?

Thanks

I have several pro team back packs I use for just about all my commercial work and to vacuum stairs, under beds and upholstery, they go where an upright can't

I don't use the ez glide head, I buy an air driven vac head for the vacuum
http://www.pro-team.com/accessories/default.aspx?type=8, the 103608 11" turbo vac head

buy either pro team of sandi stay away the other brands

We use oreck backpacs, wonderful units. Some are 7-8 years old and only the straps on the harness have been replaced.

Stay away from anything else oreck

Thanks Randy I appreciate the info.

Yes you are right about bending over, this photo was from 2/15/06, we have since used an extension.

It didn't take them long to complain and they took extensions from the fire crews who use them when vacuuming textured ceilings.
