Bayco valve question.

Does a Bayco valve need to be adjusted according to the speed of the machine or does it not matter. So if it doesn't matter, do I just crank down the factory vac relief and go on my merry way?

From what I've heard, you just crank up the factory relief so that it won't trigger before the bayco.

I think you're both saying the same thing, Dirk

Doug, don't crank the stock relief so tight that it won't open.
If your Bayco is set to pop at 15hg, I'd set your stock relief to start bleeding air at 16 or 17hg.
That way you'll have a fail safe back up when/if the Bayco fails to pop.

I tried one for a day.
personally, i just couldn't warm up to the Bayco.
The stock relief on my Powermatic is more consistent and doesn't drop 2 HG when it cycles, like the Bayco did
