This is my first berber repair. It went pretty smooth. It is raised up a little higher than the surrounding carpet but I believe that's due to the fact it's in a high traffic area and the donor piece is brand new, I believe it'll level out with the rest pretty quick. Even right now it looks better than any of the other seams in the house, they are all very visable. The customer was thrilled. This house is owned by a church and evidently they have been debating for a while about what to do about this damage.
It was on a seam. I wasn't 100% sure if that would make any difference but I didn't treat it any differently.
