Sometimes Life calls for a just a dab of Butyl.

and all the scrubbing and waiting around just aint gonna cut it.
 Wow, even with a vortex?

Chem-Tex has a product I like called Supreme. I usually just use power Burst on the traffic lanes if needed. I wish I could find something safe that gives the same results.

An extra 3 oz scoop of Grease Eraser in the hydroforce. I always have two trigger sprayers filled with a liquid TLC such as Grease Aggressor. If I ever was to use a Butyl, and I don't, it sure as hell wouldn't be in the hydroforce, but rather in these trigger sprayers, and used very sparingly. Always put in your hydroforce or pump-up what you would be willing to atomize and inhale for long periods of time because that is exactly what you are doing.

The Hot Sauce makes a nice booster
Or Zep Prep, which is actually different in Canada, it has butyl.
Or Attack, if its a lot of kitchen tracking.

If its really thrashed, a little of each. What have I to lose. Carpet is toast anyway, may as well try and restore it.

Butyl still doesn't touch the grease and tumeric stains from indians! :| I kept applying pog and kept gettin transfer but couldn't get all of it. I was throwing everything at it and it laughed at me! I know I know i needed the DCI light with the stain magic.. I used stain magic and it slowly lightened it.

I went to Autozone and bought some Purple stuff today to try on a gross empty apartment I had to day.
I added 2 ounces per gallon in my pump up along with my pre spray.
Tonight my lungs and throat feel funny, my ears are ringing, my neck muscles are sore and I cant taste my pizza.

Thanks a lot Mikey P.    cough!
Do you all listen to his advice on a regular basis?

You are not supposed to drink it. It goes on the carpet.

I have used simple green on tile before and I think its supposed to
be "green", hence the name simple green. Its one hell of a degreaser or booster
if no one is looking. It smells good too!

man, I can't stomach the smell of SG

it IS one pf the best all purpose cleaners on the market though

it kicks Castrol's Superclean, Purple Power, HD's Industrial Purple, Greased Lighting, etc azz all over the place.

The only thing that comes close to Simple green (perhaps even better) is a product called Scrub Ender.
I believe it's a Betco product.
It's some wicked chit to use , though

Off the shelf "non" specific CCing manufactured juices we use are

Oxy-Clean, when we need a sodium perc boost
Krud Kutter..by far the best juice we've ever used to emulsify nicotine
you might try it instead of Purple Power,on the grease pits Mike.
it's not nearly as offensive as the raw butyl hack/choke associated with most of the "purple juices"

I'm surprised to hear you guys talk so good about simple green. I bought a gallon to try on my own tile and it wasn't worth a crap. Then I decided to use it on my dirty olefin area rug just to get rid of the rest of the gallon. I mixed it strong and cleaned it and when I was done my wife said to me she don't understand how in the hell I get any business if that's the best I can clean.

Sprayed it again with Judson's and it looked brand new when I was done.

Maybe there is more than one product called simple green. :?

Oh and it stunk to high heaven.

I was wondering the same thing but Uncle Larry is right more than he is wrong and it had been a while since I tried it on anything so I obstained from remark. I would add that this is an example of how different soil types react differently.

we haven't used it on carpets in years and years.
Not since WAY back in the "Tide" dayz when I was $35-$40 apt hack.
Back then I tried many different "love potions"
SG kicked azz on the grease pits

ever seen those black streaks on campers/motor homes?

My bud bought some big buck juice form the RV dealer designed 'specially for those streaks
(after he'd tried several other all purpose cleaners that didn't do so well on 'em)
He mentioned the trouble and effort it took to remove them.
I grabbed my SG, sprayed a little on and no agitation they ran off like rain over a duck's back.
I've done the same with Momma's deck/patio furniture too

In the empties we clean (general cleaning, not the carpet) SG out preforms the other all purpose cleaners we've tried.
Purple juices, Greased Lightning, you name it we've tried it.
SG consistently works better.
The exception is Scrub Ender by Betco I mentioned. (I "think" it's a Betco product)
But that stuff will burn you're lungs out and should be used with a respirator IMO

I saw the Crud Cutter at Ace today.

Claims of healthiness lead me to think no Butyl.

Have you ran it through your pre sprayer there meAt?

absolutely
it's our juice of choice for nicotine stained carpets
I discovered that virtue years ago on one of the worst (if not THE worst) nicotine stained carpets I've ever seen.

It was an empty house a realtor asked us to clean

I roto scrubbed Ultrapac at double strength RTU, then tried DSC Krush (a very good d'limonene base pre-spray), then gave it a shot with BP Flex
All made a large improvement.

This was a very large house, and i was running low on "heavy hitter" pre-spray, so I grabbed the Krud Kutter.
I don't know why it was even n the van, cause I'd had never used it on carpet before.
I mixed it 8 to 1 ratio and BAMM, it blew away all the other heavy hitters I tried.
None of the others came close

Sherwin Williams runs it on sale from time to time.
Last summer I bought all they had (2 1/2 cases) for $11/gal

As a booster to a pre spray, Arm & Hammer Soda Wash aka sodium carbonate, soda ash.
It will raise you ph to about 11.
