I've got a commercial customer who has open areas of tile that is cleaned twice per week with a mop. They are looking for a better way to clean this area. Is there a machine or method that you would recommend besides mopping.

I recommend to my commercial customers to invest in a wet vac from Home Depot, 175 RPM floor machine with a nylon grit brush attached, stand up grout scrubbing tool and neutral cleaner

That doesn't seem more convenient than what they are doing twice per week.

Doesn't VersaClean have there version with the tile spinner on it instead of the Hoss 700 head.....? But then they wouldn't need you...... :dejection:

Depends on how many square foot they are mainanining.

Auto scubber for large areas

Crb for tile, like powerflte unit for small areas

Changing the mopping solution is key. 2X for 3000ft is not enough for a relatively clean floor.
The tile surface might look cleaner but the grout joints are collecting all the dirt.

They want to find an easier faster way to do this other than using a mop bucket.

Flat mops. Get several flat mops, pre soak them in the solution. Exchange the mops frequently putting the soiled ones in a bag as you go.
That will eliminate changing the bucket all the time which is a time consuming pain.

Are they dunking the mop in the contaminated water?

HUGE HUGE HUGE issue....

The tracking of this filth/detergent blend onto adjacent carpet gives carpet cleaners fits and they don't always know it

there are thousands of commercial customers using this cost effective scrubbing tool and reversing the effects of mopping. Mopping is what keeps floors polluted. They can use a mop to soak up the dirty water that forms when scrubbing the floor with this tool or the best way to be to vacuum it up.

If you correctly mop on a regular basis, you don't need to scrub. A brush does not pick up dirt.

So flat mop without using dirty water? That's what I got out of all of this.

The QT convience stores all run a small autoscrubber over there floors 2-3 times a day. Personally I think its genius. Their floors always look clean.
