My Lindhaus and Royal vacs should be around for years. This is going to be a toy and for doing the pet nasties. Sometimes its just fun to see what comes up in the cup.

For a carpet cleaner, a vacuum WITHOUT onboard edging tools is a complete waste of time.

I'm gonna check out the Momentum that Meat posted about, the only achilles heel of the Bissel line was the damn filters, the momentum says goodbye to filters, and it doesn't cost $900.

Vacs get beat up, I think buying a new one each year is a good idea for cosmetic reasons.
