I started with the Windsor, tried the Sanitaire and (most recently) the Proforce 1500xp. Hate the proforce, things more top heavy than dolly parton. Thinking of going with a less expenive (if good) vacuum that doesn't weigh a ton and performs well. Suggestions?? Thx!

He’s been on here since 2009…

Unless you are a janitor. Buy a Shark
I buy the Sharks from Amazon referbished. They are new just in open box usually. I get one that the tank comes off allowing me to vacuum completely under beds. Something most around here do not bother with. I stress the need for full vacuuming as we provide health and well being along with appearance and longevity of carpet fiber. They are cheap enough that I buy them when I see what I want during the year. If they break or look nasty, I just put the next one on the truck.. Mind you this is residential only. I use CRB and a commercial vacuum on my other jobs. That keeps the residential machine looking and working better longer.

I’ve used the same shark for a couple of years now. Residential and Commercial. High End and Rat Nasty. I take it apart and clean it 2-3 times a week.

Ok, you guys can have this argument. I'm not in the mood for 4 goobers to gang up on me about my cleanmax.

If sanitaire would improve their belts, I'd say that is the best.

Your lack of ability to pick proper tools doesn’t give you much influence here.
