This guy is, unfortunately, representative of the Yelp mindset: young, ignorant, wants $100 worth of anything for $6, and creates his own version of reality.
Here's the critical piece that makes Yelp such a crapshoot:

20 Useful, 27 Funny, and 13 Cool
This guy is an ass, but his fellow Yelpies think his rants are useful, funny and cool.
If Yelp took away the funny and cool ranking or added a total loser checkbox they'd lose the jerk reviewers, but they'd also lose their audience of young, ignorant...
