Black Lights in cold weather

Does the temperature effect how a black light detects urine? I have Cobbs black light and with the temps dropping at night I got to think if the lower temps at night in my van would effect how the black light works.

if its led then no, if its a bulb, yes, but no.

it affects batteries more than the light. if you have alkaline batteries, they dont put out as much energy as the colder they get the slower the chemical reaction that creates the energy.

switch to lithium batteries, if its rechargeable and has nicad batteries then start taking it in at night, if it rechargable lithium then still shouldnt be an issue.
