My blower exhaust exchanger is getting clogged, I have read that you need a good solvent to soak it in, can anyone recommend a good solvent to clean it with?
I think he knows how to descale and that would be an acid not a solvent.. I would have liked to have a bit more dwell time but here is mine:

What you need is a good aqueous degreasing product with maybe only mild acidity in which you can soak the unit. Using a hydrocarbon solvent can get rather impractical. Quite often Blower HX's use thin aluminum fins that you don't want to get to harsh with the descaling component. We' have also used the services of an engine rebuilder with hot tank capabilities on the really bad ones.
