Blower Question

I have noticed in the last few weeks that when starting the unit ( Hydrmaster 4.8 Salsa w/ 1000hrs) the blower is making a squeak/rubbing sound that appears to be coming from inside. It slowly goes away after warm up and does not happen the rest of the day. I do lube at end of day . Oil level is fine and it appears run just fine. Any ideas, concerns, recommendations or is it not unusual ... Thanks

I have never done the lube thing, I wonder if lubing can cause a build up that could cause the lobes to rub. I have also never done the flooding/flushing of the blower but you might consider it.

Clean the blower out. Should do that twice a year or so. Lobes get caked with yuk.

PS Be prepared for a certain amount of abuse, Steve, because people may think you are me. (And NEVER put a PS on your post. I really do have that patented.)
