Keeping this thread completely derailed forces me to ask Mikey and Sam....

Did you ever go to Pepe's Go Karts on on Roscoe and Hayvenhurst?

An updates yet? I still haven't heard back from the service center that my tranny filters are in. Wonder if they're coming from Japan? Might be like the wiring harness, they said 6-7 weeks (this was before the disaster). I finally fixed that problem myself. I am certainly glad I don't conduct our business like some other "service" businesses.

Turns out the seal on the dip stick failed and was letting out the fluid.

Over heated big time on that steep hill.

A full service and a new seal and good to go!

I'm just damn glad it happened when I was there.

A few days earlier would have ruined my hula lessons big time.

@ $750 I got off easy (including the tow up and over the Scruz mountains)

Malibu Grand Prix was pretty cool, but you couldn't race other people.

Nothridge Water Slide was pretty awesome though.

We used to raise hell at the Golf 'N Stuff or whatever it was called way out on Sepulveda near Ventura Blvd.

Played lots of Galaga and Donkey Kong Jr.
