This will be a decent rental system for professionals who don't want to buy a crb...they can just rent it for a couple days for 39.99 a day. Use the heck out of it and then return it.

On the other hand...there will be a lot of "do it yourselfers" who will be upset with the results and be calling a pro with a bit higher appreciation to what they can do. Same way the rug doctor crowd...everyone learns it.

Add it to your services.
There obviously a franchise.
The people who call are obvious do it yourself types.
So you get a free market.
Perfect,if your smart .
Add in a spotting chart, with company name.
Bruce Lee said go with the flow.
If some guy can pick up an deliver an sell spotting equipment.
An make profits.
Versus you doing it.
So do both...
It promotes the winning concept of delegating.
Versus the old broke his back did it himself.
Or get some cheap machines an rent.
But do it your self is huge market .
An if bolt thinks it can take on rug doctor.
Get a slice of the pie.
It's rightfully ours...

Naah...he would still know about someone buying half a truckload of units that aren't his resellers.

Well then I guess there isn't a truckload of units out there.

Tens have been super hard to come by for over a year now, It could very well be there using old Chinese beater units

It doesn't seem like a good ROI for Bolt. Aren't those things about $2k each. So if you buy 10 of them to rent out, you're $20k in the hole before pump up sprayers and chems. $39/day for each unit doesn't leave any profit.

Am I the only one seeing it from that angle?

The scotch guard treatment is a $300 upsell.

It's just the same as the 19 dollar Home Depot truck rental....

You NEVER end up paying 19 dollars!

Matter of fact, I would challenge any of our Utah guys here, who have access to this Bolt service to try to rent one and see how many times over 39 dollars will they pay..

I bet if these units were battery powered, you could take your sand art to whole new depths.

Corn rowed sand could be featherd, cross hatched, herring boned, layered etc etc..

And for just $39 you wouldn't have to clean it at the end of the day, just tell homeboy to come pick it up.

I"ve thought about renting out my portable unit for the price shoppers who call me.
But im reminded of the other golden rule--never loan out your tools to idiots.

Well they could expand into air duct cleaning really easy. One of those plastic cover things , a harbor fright 15 lb air compressor and a cutting tool that fits on their drill to open up the trunklines. This could be the next boober or Lyft.

The service areas are all around Ogden, Utah near Salt Lake City when you click to rent. A upsell is the urine kit with rental SOS thingy. Who do we know in Utah retarded enough to do this ? I thought Mormons banned the whole marry your sister thing a couple hundred years ago.

dont laugh but at one point we rented a truckmount by the hour. Tech drove up, set up, let customer clean, take down, collect money. That was in the late 80s. An idea that didnt work.

ok, go ahead. laugh
