Brass or Stainless?

I had a big day today, and luckily for me one of my quick connects gave out right at the very end of the day, so it wasn't an issue. I do have a few spare brass connects to repair it with, but was just wondering what you guys use.

Are the brass ones good enough, or is it worth coughing up the extra dollars for stainless steel connects?

And whether I go with brass or stainless, who makes the best, most "bulletproof" connects?

I switched to stainless a few years ago and the seem to last longer and connect better. They just cost more.

Talk to Greenie he sells the best ones made. Foster is the brand name.

What exactly went out on your quick connect? I use SS males and brass females. Get some replacement o-rings for the females and you'll be good to go for a long time. Just take care not to drag the female along the ground.

Telly;

We like the Hansen brand SS quick-connects.

The female shows the white teflon & black Viton o-ring,
for reliable hi-temp operation.
Also has 8 retaining balls for high pressure grout cleaning.
