Excessive heat warnings in the area and excessive work warning here. We had 4-apartments wet on 4-floors in a retirement building and another flooded basement at a lake house today. On top of carpet cleaning and fire work. Its been rough, can't wait for the weekend.

Except we have to slay the dragon in the am before we can relax. 35K of commercial carpet tomorrow AM.

Then Miller time! :very_drunk:

We called Miller Beer "Manual's"....... beer for manual labor!
Actually liked it better than Bud,PBR and Schmidts and Schafer, but back then Iron City Beer ruled in our price range. Under $4.00 for a case.

The heat this summer has been extreme here, as well. Our military move out season is over, but we are still busy as can be.

Working the farm is what has been so hard this summer. I can clean carpet all day without too much trouble, but 3 or 4 hours outside in 98 degree heat hoeing, plowing, picking or slopping is a killer.

I'm not a young man anymore and my kids have little interest. I find myself wondering when will be my last corn stalk.

But I still plant every spring.
