20" brute. Gladiators on very short nap commercial nylon. The damn pads kept buckling under the machine and when they finally hung on it was a very rough ride. Finished the job with a 15" conqueror.

Anyone experienced this?

PS: I think I have to take Yoga or something. I thought getting older makes you more humble....what's up with that !!

Hows your velcro look? Any loose edges and or is it loaded with fiber?

Make sure you are getting enough/even flow through your jets & use a glider disc. Are your towels already wet when you start? Was the floor uneven? Cleaned out your Velcro lately?

That machine should be smooth. Call me and we will figure it out.

Thanks for the replies.

I did use a glider to no avail but as far as the velcro, it's loose on some edges and I've never cleaned it. I'll give it a shot after that and thanks Clark, I'll call you soon.

I have been having the same problem with the easy glider. The pad buckles under the machine. I put in new bearings, new pad, glider, etc. but still gives me problems. Can't figure it out. We run the machine 4 or 5 hours per day. Most days it works great, but every other day or so it is a problem to run.

Uneven floor?

I don't think so. The conqueror ran fine without resistance. It did happen some time ago on a similar low nap pile. I don't use it much.
