Assuming you were adding a truck tomorrow & had the opportunity to:
Hire an Owner Operator that:
1)You could trust with your equipment & customers
2)Would need little to no training
3)Is obviously smart enough to do it with minimal supervision
4)Was willing to clean & help market/grow your business
5)Is not afraid of night work or weekends
.

What would this person be worth to you in terms of salary, benefits (& whatever other forms of compensation that come to mind):?:

The problem with employing someone of that calibre, is that sooner or later, they will see the greener grass again and go out against you armed not only with their previous experience but all the tips they have picked up from your business too.

Also, I find anyone that has previous experience, will still require training of some description regardless as YOUR customers EXPECT the SAME service they have always received and so he needs to do things the same way as you and we all know it's pretty hard to teach old dogs new tricks

Sorry Jeremy (and Mike)

I'm the only unemployable, strong willed, "know it all" allowed to work here.
