If the carpet is still in new condition and is still under warranty, you shouldn't need to use that type of aggressive cleaning. If it's old and trashed, the warranty is probably already expired or they waited too long to clean it which violates the warranty requirements

In every case I have been involved in, the issues of rotary was never raised by the carpet manufacturer unless there was a type of damage that may have been caused by a rotary. They never said they would not cover an issues with tuft bind or UV failure because a rotary was used. But, if the issue was tip blooming and a rotary had been used ...
