I ran Butlers for 25 years. They are extremely dependable and parts are always available. In 1997 when Chevy and GMC changed the chassis they were just to small for us to use on our big commercial jobs, carrying 400 ft of hose plus. If they would install in a decent box style or the new Nissan tall trucks, I would consider purchasing in the future. For now, I like the Aerotech and appreciate the excellent customer service.

You're right Marty, the new SS pro-1200 has not been around long enough.
That's why it is so exciting here, as there are always happy beta testers volunteers, all eager to fork out their hard earned money for the general good :winky:

I have a year and a half old Pro-1200 (still the old model) and it has been great. So far.

ProChem did hydraulic without consulting people who knew how to properly do hydraulic equipment.

My dad built complete sawmills and worked on many hydraulic control systems. Properly sizing components, plumbing, and tanks is vital.

Hydraulic equipment is very reliable in many portable industrial settings. I wish PC had pulled it off, I love our PC 405s, but everybody makes a mistake sooner or later.

I will probably end up with another PTO. Easy to train someone on. Almost stupid proof. Coit runs a lot of hydramaster cds here they love them.

The butler looks like a nice set up. Clean install. We have one o/o that has a butler here. It's at least 12years old and still going. Van looks like crap but still running. I guess driving that hydraulic pump was a lot harder on the engine than turning a blower.

I have a brand new 30hp Kohler engine to go on my garage mount this summer. Then my current motor will be my back up. It will only take about an hour to put a new motor in my machine.
