So I had the good pleasure a few weeks back to hang out in Boston, MA We have family there...we like to see them regularly...some are a bit elderly...

The last few times we went back I thought about going to Ludlow, MA to see the Butler production facility...but never made it...to busy fishing out from Naraganset RI...or watching Baseball at Fenway Park!

This time was different...I was determined to see the Butler Facility...and we had our rental car...so it got on the schedule!

So...just as an aside...not too many of you have ever met my spouse...she is quite shy...and aside from answering my phone and taking care of my schedule...she really wants little to do with my trade...I've invited her to Every trade show or fest I have been to...she uses the analogy of just how interested I would be in attending a medical transcriptionist conference?? (Her trade)

So I was pleasantly surprised when she wanted to ride along to Ludlow, MA to see the Butler Operation...as long as we could road up to Amherst, MA to see her alma mater...UMASS Amherst.

So we set out from Worcester, MA on a Friday morning...took the MassPike to Ludlow...

To put it mildly...we were both Very Impressed with the Butler Operation...the place is almost spotless during the middle of the production day...They have multiple redundant checklists for every detail of the installation process...they have a couple of dedicated bays just for the training of how to both operate and properly maintain the equipment...

A few things really jumped out at me in the tour...
1) Butler is 'Beyond Committed' to the ongoing success of their customers...they have a program to help get replacement parts for your older Butler Unit...and will return you a core charge when your failed item is sent back...sometimes cutting the charge for your replacement parts by a large percentage!

2) They have a group of cleaning and business specialists that will help mentor a newer carpet cleaner to long-term success...have a question? They Want to help you find the answer!

3) They have 35 plus years in the business...as we toured the plant...our guide...Daryl Barelli...pointed out some of the folks that have been with Butler...since it started! It is family owned and operated...and if you have one of their machines...they welcome you into their family!

After we left Butler...driving to UMASS...Maryann tells me...if she ever got into the carpet cleaning business...she would Only purchase Butler equipment!

Nice tour, Daryl! It can be challenging to impress me at times...but BUTLER did just that!

If you live west of the Mississippi River...or some of the South Eastern state...your sales contact at Butler is Daryl Berrelli dberrelli@butlersystem.com 800-535-5025 Tell him Jimbo sent you!

They really do make the premier installation of a direct drive machine. Absolutely beautiful machine, seductive marketing, true professionalism in customer service. If only they understood the needs of modern day cleaners and their need for space for necessary tools besides a floor wand and a tile spinner I would buy one also. The option of a #5 blower would make sense also as those have proven to be reliable despite Butler's decades old resistance to them.

Our Butler units have been dependable, reliable.....

And made us a lot of money!

And we get thousands of miles and thousands of hours out of our Butlers.....

Really hard to let them go when it might be time....

And for where I live, I swear the BEST cold weather cleaning machine on the market!

Who else can claim they have cleaned in 60 below zero ACTUAL temp before windchill with a Truckmount! I CAN!

We just plain love them :) :very_drunk:
