Or retro the 405 tank port...to accept (increase) the 805 larger dia. hose...???

I spent to much $$$$$$ Repairing it...OVER $3000.00.....

So I am UpSiDe-DowN in this MACHINE......

It has been in UTAH for 5 months for sale....NO BUYERS..for this BIG of a UNIT... :roll:

Sooo....I am going to Ship it ...here to FL....& put it to WORK.... :!: :!: :!:

I want to YANK the 405...& put it in the Box Truck....

I am trying to FIND OUT...If there is any reason WHY... I can't hook-it up to the 405
waste tank.. :?: The 405 tank is already Plumed with 2.5 vac. MOD...the Unit has an APO..
Holes are already DRILLED for the 805..Just set back in Box Truck...

If you don't mind some cutting....why not.

If memory serves, the 405 tank has a 3" port, and two 2" flow-ezy filters, so there is gonna be a fair bit of resistance.

Doesn't mean you can't do it, heck just a 4" to 3" rubber FernCo would do the trick.

That said....in a box, why not keep the monster tank, or are you giving up Drying Equip. room?

The unit has an APO...The 805 Tank "EATS-UP"a LOT of floor space..We carry 3 Airpaths...
I am running 13ft of 2.5 stainless from the 405 tank under the floor, to the outside of the truck...Will this relieve some of the BACK-PRESSURE on the Blower... :?:

The other reason I want to leave the 405 tank is....Ease of install...Yank the 405...
Slide in the 805...Hole's are still there from the Original Install... :!:

So, I can just reduce the 4in on the Vac hose 805...to 3in on the 405 tank.. :?: and AVOID cutting the 405 w.tank..... :idea:

Yea that sucker takes up too much valuable floor space.

We are doing the same thing, putting that bad boy back in action.

We are installing it without a fresh water tank and without the powered hose reel this time, just to save some space for drying equipment. It will primarily be a super sucker, but if we had to we can run a garden hose if we have to clean carpet with it.

I've never done it, I can only say you "should" be able to do it. plenty of units run a 59 blower with 3" plumbing where there are two 2" flow-ezys bottle necking it on the waste tank, it's just not optimum.

You say...running some 2.5 under the truck, do you mean 2.5 x 2 under the truck for dual wand? Cause that monster engine is gonna make some hot water, and even hotter with the blower plumbing choked, you won't be able to single wand without overheating.
