Phones have been screaming all week. Every time I hang up either the phone rings again or I have voicemails from missed calls. We've been running both trucks at times, but I think we are going to send them both out together everyday through the busy season just so we can accommodate those last minute add ons and "holiday" cleaning emergencies. I can split them up if needed and take on the stuff we might normally have to turn away.

'Tis the time of year, but this year seems exceptionally busy. Been booked out 1-2 weeks for the past few months. December has a fair amount of jobs booked already to.

Love the busy season...but the after the storm calm will be nice too. Moving in to our new shop/office starting mid-December, so lots to do there to keep us busy during the "slow"season. Hired an admin person to help out in the office too.

Cool! Congrats!!!

Of all the problems to have, I'll choose "busy" every day!

That's the way I roll during busy times, your husband is going to love it!! We will also park a van somewhere along the route when we need to split up.. 4 rooms or under we generally do with one truck one guy 5-6 rooms two guys one van 7 or more rooms two vans 2 guys (it's nice to have three guys in these instances)..

Congrats Meg

I always think of this time of year as squirrel season. Overload the schedule , cause in a few short months the phone calls drop off significantly until Spring

Sounds like you have plenty to keep the boys busy during the winter with new shop

Don't overwork yourself trying to out do some of these guys. It's not a competition! :winky:

She's not in competition...she's wo"maning" up and taking over for her hubby while he's ill. She's one tough chick!

And....would you have made the same comment if it was one of the guys on the form saying he was working alone, doing as much as he could handle and booked out one to two weeks.....????

I think us women here have proven our selves and should be treated like one of the guys....

Ive been slower than I like but im still recovering from spring and summer so I aint complaining.
Maybe ill go see the chiropractor today.
Might join a group of string players today too.
I enjoy these slow times as long as they dont last to long and they usually dont.
Waiting on doing some bids that got accepted too.
