I see in your video that you are using your measuring tool. Do you always use this tool for every residential job instead of charging them per room?
Yes, Every time. The nice thing is once I get the numbers, I've got them in my system for the next time. I believe that Sqft pricing is the great equalizer. Some guys price by rooms, but I don't like that. Too many unknowns. When people tell me on the phone they don't know their numbers, I just give them a ball park of cost with plenty of wiggle room.

My mom was a birdwatcher. Redwing blackbird was one of her favorites. We have a marsh nearby that has a lot of them. Every time I hear their call, it reminds me of my mom.
