Carpet cleaning spotting guide

Acid solution (mix one third cup of white vinegar with two thirds cup of water).
Alkaline solution (mix 1 part vinger with 2 parts hot water).

This is f'n genius. I wonder if any other products are subject to this? Measuring in cups = acid & parts = alkaline.
Got any tips to make a neutral solution?
