Here in southern California I'm slowly seeing wall to wall carpet disappearing. Especially in rented townhomes, condo's,and apts. Crappy laminate being put down in most rentals. Stairs and upstairs levels as well. A large portion of business being affected. Anyone else seeing this?

I think people are getting tired of the mills putting out shitty Olefin and Poly. The old Nylon lasts 20 years and cleans up awesome. Carpet salesmen are idiots and lie to their customers. People are catching on and going to hard surfaces.

One of my property rental dudes is replacing all his floors with some kind of fake hardwood/vinyl. Other than that...it's not really affecting my business.

Quit marketing to rental apartments and start knocking on office complex doors and churches and banks

Churches have always been cheap and mostly difficult to deal with unfortunately
