Ok boys and girls client had glued down these carpet runners ten years ago dry glue residue stuck to good white carpet, What are you going to use.

Hey Ron, If that's the sticky/glue tape, I used an iron and towel a few weeks ago to peel a few feet up. Worked great!

But your spot is MUCH larger than ours. An iron or heat would take forever! What did you end up doing?

More glue to put it back where I found it.......

i have had some luck with using osr and pro=zyme plus mixed hot with about 30 min dwell. what didnt come out i used a volotile solvent on a rag. granted my area was only a couple square feet the last time i saw this.

That stuff is supposed to clean out with a regular detergent, but really old stuff we sometimes have had to resort to using iso alcohol.

Well just to let everyone know we sprayed with iso 91, let it dwell for ten minutes and hit it with the cbr. And bam all gone no sticky residue, looks fantastic, I will put some pictures up in a bit.

I would use my enz-all boosted big with citrus solv, good dwell time and rotary scrub it. I have had this before from a house that was on the market for a long time and they put down plastic with a sticky backing that left a terrible residue as well as the dirt attracted to it afterwards. Came out great!
