Has any one replaced their crankcase seals on a cat pump? I take it I must take the plungers out to access it? Thanks WayneWayne

I have, and it's REAL easy(just pay attention on how it comes apart)! No you don't have to take out the plungers.. When you order the rebuild kit make sure you get the one with the high temp. seals..

Wait crankcase seals? Never have done that.. Don't throw too much into it a new one costs $599.00..

It's a cat 340 ht. I believe it is about $900+ for a new one. Yes I mean crankcase seals, not the high and low press ones in the manifold.

Yes, you have to tear it all down to get to the seals that are in the case.
