I love this thing, it holds a ton of crap and I still get airflow.

Talking about filter boxes.
Does someone make them size to order?

I'm looking for a narrow one to be put permanently behind the passenger seat. Easily accessible from the side door. One with a simple lift cover.
I don't like the portable ones that drip and need to be taken out to connect to hose. Too bulky and messy for me.
Just a narrow box with a lift cover.

Ofer what dimensions were you looking for? What inlet/outlet size?
No one's standard filter is close enough?

Johnshotheatexchanger makes them. Or at least did when John was alive. Check with them.

Dan, not much space between the passenger seat and pro-1200.
About 6-7" Wide.
could be 10-17" H
and 12-17" Deep.
And a top cover lid and a lint basket so that I can easily pull the basket and remove lint.

Wonder if that can be done without much vac loss?

We've got a CDS Filter Box permanently mounted at the drain station in the shop to filter out debris, works like a charm for sure. It's very easy for the technicians to clean too.

Probably the prochem pre-filter box will work for you

I used my legend brand points for mine. So yeah I got it pretty much free. My customers love it, and I like being able to see all the crap I pull out, and I run 2-2" hoses to the box then one off of it, huge difference in suction.

We have had 2 built out of aluminum. Would last 20 years easy. Cost 350 plus 150 for a filter basket that lifts out. Works great.
