I personally cant see it dropping the temps that much either, TM engines aren't the massive airpumps that performance engines are.
Nor do performance engines put a restrictive heat exchanger inline they flowww

TM manufactorers are notorious for marketing their machines on the independant components not how those components actually perform in their machines.

When the racing community states 30-35% as best case scenario its no suprise that a TM company jumps on that figure

But just like I told Cobblet, don't just tell me vacs are 22% more powerful...tell me how much more in solution recovery where the rubber meets the road

do they actually reduce the temp under the skin substantially ? (30% less temp would be quite substantial)
or is the real virtue in not needing heat shields for components in closest proximity to exhaust pipe?
Which is well and good... don't get me wrong , that's good engineering .
But if you're going to tout reduced temps under the hood, ducK tape some thermometers to wiring harnesses, pumps, belts and hoses and give some real numbers

@sOOper hero That's why I mentioned temperature gradients. Rate of heat transfer is impeded in way so that surround components is less affected. How quickly it heats up and cools down matters too. It will always get hot, but it is better mitigated.

Marty, I don't know what that means. I live in Redding. The closest shop is 2.5 hours from me in Medford or Sacramento. A real pain in the ass!!!!!! That is why I first bought an Amtex, so I could work on it myself. But my SS870 has been rock solid. Pushing 1600 hours now and still running like new. I do all the fluid changes myself.
