Changing fluids in transmission

I have a butler truckmount with 15,300 miles on the 2007 gmc 3500 van. Someone posted to change the tranny fluid yearly. Is this correct? Should I also get the radiator fluid changed. Will be at gmc within next 2 weeks for inspection. Thanks Ron

Pay attention to the radiator. The brown crap that is stock GM will eventually plug the radiator. Replaced my raidiator at 38k miles, just out of warrenty on a 04. Butler is aware of this issue, but changing to a different type of coolant may void your warrenty on the van. Check with your GM dealer. As for the trans. mine developed a clicking and proved to be a torgue converter at about 40k, another 700 bucks.

I think GM requires Dexcool for their warrantees, could be wrong though.
