How the "blank" do you get the oil out of the pump without making a mess?

There's no oil drain hose, and no room for a tray.

This is what I did and should of done
you will need a small cup and a wrench..

Crack the fitting and let it slowly drain into a small cup.. ( Small cup fits under mine) Yes, it will take awhile

After it is drained down enough to pull fitting all the way apart turn the cat pump clutch by hand and it will turn the pump and pump out the left overs

I had a major brain fart when I was done with mine and had it all refilled......
I should of taken a "T" and put it in line and added a drain hose This would of allowed me to use a hand pump and suck it out next time

The hose can't be under that much pressure.. They used the squeze clamps instead of high presure fittings so it would not have a problem

Another way would be to get under truck and pull lowest hose but I could not get to mine

OK................. he said pump and I just picked the hardest one

I already put a dump hose on the cat pump

When the seals got chewed up from the rust I removed the whole assembly ( Blue lump.... LOL ) to inspect and clean it While it was out I replaced the drain plug with elbow and attached a hose to it and on the other end of the hose a fitting with a cap

Learned that one from my HM..........

once hose is installed and you need to make a chage of the oil
hook this up to line and suck away get out almost every drop
